Our Verdict
For merchants seeking a full-fledged customer portal with features like loyalty programs and returns management, Customer Accounts Deluxe is the better choice. It allows for extensive customization to create a branded experience. However, given the low number of reviews, merchants should proceed with caution and thoroughly test the app.
Conversely, if the primary goal is to simplify the login process and improve communication through OTP and notifications, Lucent ‑ OTP Login & Notify is the more appropriate option. It has significantly more reviews, indicating greater user experience. Lucent also suits merchants dealing with B2B clients due to its company registration feature.
