Customer Accounts Pro vs FastGrowth Formsfor Shopify (2026)
Customer Accounts Pro and FastGrowth Forms both aim to enhance data collection for Shopify merchants using forms, but they target distinct use cases and offer drastically different feature sets. Customer Accounts Pro specializes in customizing the customer account experience, focusing on registration forms and profile enrichment with custom fields directly integrated with Shopify metafields. This allows merchants to collect personalized data for segmentation and marketing directly within the native customer account system. In contrast, FastGrowth Forms positions itself as a general-purpose form builder, offering drag-and-drop functionality for creating various form types like subscriptions, contact forms, and surveys. It prioritizes ease of use and integration with popular marketing platforms like Klaviyo and MailChimp. FastGrowth Forms lacks the deep integration with customer accounts offered by Customer Accounts Pro. Given the limited number of reviews and stark rating difference, merchants should exercise caution when interpreting these values. However, based solely on the available feature descriptions, Customer Accounts Pro appears to be more suitable for merchants who want to heavily customize the customer account creation and profile management process, enabling personalized experiences and segmented marketing through enriching customer profile data. FastGrowth Forms, on the other hand, caters to merchants who need a flexible and easy-to-use form builder for various purposes beyond just customer account management, focusing on broader data collection and integration with marketing automation tools.

Our Verdict
For Shopify merchants seeking to deeply customize the customer account creation and management process, enriching customer profiles to enable personalized experiences and targeted marketing, Customer Accounts Pro appears to be the better choice, based on its features and descriptions, although the limited review count warrants further investigation. However, merchants needing a versatile form builder for various data collection purposes, like subscription sign-ups, contact forms, or surveys, with integrations into popular marketing platforms, FastGrowth Forms provides a more flexible solution. It is crucial to acknowledge the low review count of both apps. FastGrowth Forms' low rating also merits additional caution before committing. Merchants should trial both apps if possible to determine which best fits their specific workflow and technical expertise.
Common Questions
Which app is better for customizing the customer registration process?
Customer Accounts Pro is explicitly designed for this purpose, allowing you to create custom registration forms and add custom fields to collect specific customer information upon account creation.
Does FastGrowth Forms integrate with Shopify customer accounts?
The description of FastGrowth Forms does not mention direct integration with Shopify customer accounts. It focuses on integrations with Klaviyo and MailChimp for marketing purposes, suggesting its data capture is separate from native Shopify customer profiles.
Which app is easier to use for someone with no coding experience?
FastGrowth Forms claims to offer a drag-and-drop interface, suggesting it may be more user-friendly for those without coding experience. However, both apps warrant a trial to assess their ease of use in reality.
Which app is better for collecting data for segmented email marketing campaigns?
Both could be used, but Customer Accounts Pro directly feeds into customer profiles, streamlining segmentation within Shopify. FastGrowth Forms requires leveraging its Klaviyo/MailChimp integrations for marketing automation based on collected form data.
Given the limited reviews, how should I evaluate these apps?
Due to the low review counts, rely heavily on trialing both apps (if possible) to assess their actual functionality and ease of use within your specific Shopify store environment. Also, carefully examine the app developer's support documentation and consider contacting their support teams with pre-sales questions.
