Our Verdict
If your priority is to enhance the customer account experience, collect detailed customer information upon registration and through profile editing, and personalize marketing efforts, Customer Accounts Pro is the better choice. It offers extensive customization options for registration forms and profile fields, allowing for a more controlled and personalized customer journey. However, if your primary concern is simply enabling customers to easily send files along with their contact form inquiries, My File Field provides a straightforward solution. Its focus on file attachments within the native contact form makes it a simpler, more targeted tool for merchants requiring this specific functionality. Considering the limited review counts for both apps, merchants should investigate further (demos, trials, support documentation) before making a final decision.
