Our Verdict
Merchants should choose HIKO Social Login if their primary goal is to simplify the login process and gather basic customer information for marketing purposes, especially if they use Klaviyo, Mailchimp, Omnisend or Contlo. The high rating and substantial number of reviews suggest a positive user experience. However, the app supporting only legacy customer accounts is a big limitation.
On the other hand, Customer Profile Extender is more suitable for merchants who need to collect and manage specific, detailed customer data for enhanced CRM and personalization. The lack of reviews makes it difficult to assess its reliability and ease of use, but its no-code approach and focus on customer-managed data could be appealing to merchants who need flexibility in their data collection strategy. However, the current absence of reviews and the fact that the listed app language is Japanese is concerning.
