Common Questions
Can both apps be used together?
Potentially, but their functionalities are largely independent. A merchant could use MIDA to optimize the checkout process and Customs Buddy to manage international shipping if both aspects are important to their business. However, there is no direct integration.
Which app is easier to set up and use?
Customs Buddy's 'plug and play' experience with Shopify Flow suggests potentially easier setup for merchants familiar with Shopify Flow. MIDA's ease of use likely depends on the intuitiveness of its heatmap and replay interface.
Which app is more valuable for a new Shopify store?
For a brand new store with little traffic, MIDA may provide less immediate value since heatmaps and replays require a significant amount of user data. Customs Buddy could still be valuable if the new store immediately begins selling internationally.
Does Customs Buddy track duties and taxes?
The description focuses on invoice generation and doesn't explicitly mention duty/tax calculation. Further investigation is required to confirm if it includes tax tracking functionality.
Are either of the apps free?
The provided information does not specify whether either app has a free plan or a free trial. Check the Shopify App Store for their pricing details.
