DA Redirects vs Geolocation & Markets—Selectyfor Shopify (2026)
DA Redirects and Geolocation & Markets—Selecty are both Shopify apps listed under the 'Geolocation' category. However, they cater to distinct needs. DA Redirects, while boasting a perfect rating, has only a single review, making it difficult to assess its true performance or target user base. Conversely, Geolocation & Markets—Selecty is explicitly designed to enhance global sales and Shopify Markets management. It offers a comprehensive suite of features to personalize the customer experience based on their location, including currency, language, and market selectors, alongside automatic redirection capabilities. It is likely aimed at merchants who are expanding or planning to expand into international markets, especially those leveraging Shopify Markets or Global-e Managed Markets. Geolocation & Markets—Selecty's detailed description suggests a focus on automation and customization for international commerce. The key features revolve around adapting the storefront to the visitor's location and preferences. DA Redirects, based on available information, might offer a simpler redirection functionality, but the lack of data makes it difficult to determine the exact scope of its capabilities. Given the vastly different review counts, Geolocation & Markets—Selecty has far more social proof and publicly available usage data, making it easier for a merchant to gauge its suitability.

Our Verdict
Geolocation & Markets—Selecty is the clear choice for Shopify merchants actively pursuing or considering international expansion, particularly within the Shopify Markets ecosystem. Its robust feature set provides a comprehensive solution for personalizing the customer experience based on location, significantly impacting conversion rates and sales in international markets. The high review count further validates its functionality and reliability.
DA Redirects might be suitable for very simple redirection needs. However, the lack of data and reviews makes it impossible to recommend it confidently. Given the availability of a well-reviewed and feature-rich alternative like Geolocation & Markets—Selecty, opting for DA Redirects would only make sense if specific, extremely basic redirection functionality is all that is required, and cost is a significant constraint (although pricing is unavailable for both apps). The risk involved with choosing a product with minimal social proof is significant.
