DataChamp Order Export XLS/CSV vs MRPeasy Manufacturing ERPfor Shopify (2026)
DataChamp Order Export XLS/CSV and MRPeasy Manufacturing ERP, while both falling under the Inventory and ERP categories on Shopify, cater to distinct merchant needs. DataChamp focuses on providing flexible and customizable data exports of Shopify information, particularly orders, products, customers, and metafields, to external systems for analysis, accounting, and other business operations. It is designed to streamline the extraction and transformation of data, enabling merchants to leverage their Shopify data in a format suitable for external analysis and integration with other systems. MRPeasy, on the other hand, offers a comprehensive cloud-based ERP/MRP solution specifically tailored for small manufacturers and distributors. It addresses the complete manufacturing lifecycle, including production planning, inventory management, procurement, and customer relationship management. Its strength lies in its ability to manage and optimize manufacturing processes and inventory levels, offering features like BOM control, routing, and integrations with accounting software like Xero and QuickBooks. The key difference is that DataChamp is about *extracting* Shopify data while MRPeasy is about *managing* manufacturing and inventory, integrating with Shopify for sales data.

Our Verdict
DataChamp is the clear choice for Shopify merchants who need to extract and customize their store data for use in other systems. If you're looking to create detailed reports, integrate with accounting software, or automate data transfers to other platforms, DataChamp provides the granular control and automation features needed.
MRPeasy, however, is a better fit for businesses that are actively involved in manufacturing or distribution and require a comprehensive ERP system. If your focus is on managing production, inventory, and related processes, MRPeasy offers the depth and breadth of features needed to streamline operations and improve efficiency. Choosing between the two hinges on whether you need to extract data *from* Shopify, or to manage manufacturing *integrating with* Shopify.
Common Questions
Can DataChamp manage my inventory levels?
No, DataChamp focuses on exporting your Shopify data, including inventory levels, but it does not manage or control inventory within Shopify.
Does MRPeasy offer advanced reporting capabilities like DataChamp?
MRPeasy offers reporting related to production and inventory, but not the flexible, customizable data exports for *all* Shopify data (customers, metafields, orders, etc.) that DataChamp provides.
Is it possible to integrate DataChamp with MRPeasy?
While there isn't a direct, built-in integration, you could potentially use DataChamp to extract Shopify data and import it into MRPeasy, depending on MRPeasy's import capabilities. However, you may need middleware or custom development.
Which app is easier to set up and use?
DataChamp is likely easier to set up and use due to its narrower focus on data extraction. MRPeasy, as a full ERP system, involves a more complex setup process to configure production processes, inventory, and other modules.
Can I use DataChamp to automate sending order data to my fulfillment center?
Yes, DataChamp allows you to automate scheduled exports of order data to various destinations, including FTP servers and email, which you could use to send data to your fulfillment center. MRPeasy also handles order management, but within its internal manufacturing and inventory context.
