Our Verdict
For merchants primarily concerned with gaining deep insights into their Shopify data and creating custom reports for internal use or integration with other systems like accounting software, DataChamp Order Export XLS/CSV is the clear choice. Its wide range of customization options and scheduling features make it a powerful tool for data management.
However, for merchants who rely heavily on dropshipping, work with multiple vendors, or require seamless integration with their supply chain, Spark Shipping is the better option. Its ability to automate product loading, inventory updates, and order routing saves significant time and reduces the risk of errors associated with manual data entry and communication. A merchant will unlikely require both apps simultaneously, as their core functions do not overlap. The decision hinges on whether the pressing need is better data reporting, or better vendor management.
