Datora | Multi Discounts vs Elevate A/B Testing Price Testfor Shopify (2026)
Datora | Multi Discounts and Elevate A/B Testing Price Test both operate within the 'Pricing' and 'Pricing optimization' categories on Shopify, but they address fundamentally different aspects of pricing strategy. Datora focuses on implementing complex discount structures and promotional offers, allowing merchants to create intricate 'Buy X, Get Y' deals and personalized discounts based on various conditions like product variants, tags, and tiered pricing. This is a tool geared towards actively driving sales through promotions. Elevate A/B Testing Price Test, in contrast, is designed to optimize pricing (and other elements) through rigorous experimentation. It allows merchants to A/B test different pricing strategies, shipping rates, themes, and content to identify the most effective combinations for maximizing revenue and profit. While Datora is about deploying discounts, Elevate is about discovering the best prices and website elements in the first place through data. Elevate also boasts integrations with 100+ platforms and pagebuilders.

Our Verdict
Datora | Multi Discounts is best suited for merchants who already have a clear understanding of their target audience and pricing strategy, and are looking for a tool to implement complex and targeted promotional campaigns. If you have specific 'Buy X, Get Y' ideas or want to offer discounts based on product variants, this app provides the necessary features. However, the low number of reviews may indicate that the app is newer or less widely adopted, requiring more thorough due diligence.
Elevate A/B Testing Price Test is ideal for merchants who are less certain about their optimal pricing or website configurations, or who want to continuously optimize their store's performance through data-driven experimentation. The higher number of reviews suggests it's a more mature and widely used product. If your goal is to identify the *best* price rather than just implementing a discount, Elevate is the superior choice. Due to the high number of integrations and testing capabilities it is suited for larger stores and Ecommerce teams that have time to run the tests.
