Our Verdict
If a merchant requires deep control over *how much* a customer buys and wants to implement complex, time-based purchase limits tied to customer segments, DC Cart + Order Limits is likely the better choice. Its real-time messaging and flow automations are valuable assets for managing customer expectations. In contrast, RuffRuff Order Limits shines for merchants seeking a broader solution. If payment method restrictions or password protection are needed alongside standard order limits, RuffRuff offers a more integrated approach, although it has significantly fewer reviews. RuffRuff's customizability and ability to hide payment methods give it a slight edge for stores wanting a more tailored checkout experience.
