DC WhatsApp Marketing+Helpdesk vs Gorgias: Helpdesk, Chat & FAQfor Shopify (2026)
DC WhatsApp Marketing+Helpdesk and Gorgias: Helpdesk, Chat & FAQ both target Shopify merchants seeking to improve customer support and streamline communication, but they approach this goal with different strengths. DC WhatsApp Marketing+Helpdesk positions itself as a WhatsApp-centric CRM, offering robust automation and marketing capabilities through the official WhatsApp Business API, including Green Tick verification. It focuses on driving sales and engagement using WhatsApp, offering features like automated broadcasts, abandoned cart recovery, and COD order confirmations. The added omnichannel helpdesk centralizes conversations, enhancing team efficiency through AI-powered assistance and smart routing. Gorgias, on the other hand, presents itself as a broader helpdesk solution, likely covering more channels beyond WhatsApp although the provided description doesn’t explicitly state which ones. It appears to be a more established player, indicated by its significantly higher number of reviews. While its rating is lower, the sheer volume of feedback suggests a wider adoption and a more general appeal to Shopify merchants looking for a comprehensive helpdesk solution, albeit potentially lacking DC's specific WhatsApp marketing focus. The key difference lies in DC's specialization in WhatsApp marketing and automation versus Gorgias' broader helpdesk approach.

Our Verdict
For Shopify merchants who prioritize WhatsApp as a primary communication and marketing channel and desire deep integration with the WhatsApp Business API, DC WhatsApp Marketing+Helpdesk is the stronger choice. Its focus on automation, targeted messaging, and sales-driven features makes it ideal for businesses looking to leverage WhatsApp for revenue growth. The higher rating suggests a more satisfying user experience.
However, if a merchant requires a more general-purpose helpdesk solution that integrates with a wider range of channels and needs a mature, widely adopted platform, Gorgias: Helpdesk, Chat & FAQ may be a better fit. While its WhatsApp integration might not be as specialized as DC's, its broader functionality and larger user base could provide a more comprehensive solution, particularly for companies with diverse customer support needs across multiple platforms.
