DECO Product Labels & Badges vs Intelligems: A/B Testingfor Shopify (2026)
DECO Product Labels & Badges and Intelligems: A/B Testing, while both categorized under Shopify's 'Design elements', cater to vastly different needs. DECO focuses on visually enhancing product presentation with customizable labels and badges highlighting discounts, inventory status, and other product-specific information. It aims to increase conversion rates by drawing attention to key product features and offers, targeting merchants who want to improve the aesthetic appeal and informational clarity of their product listings. In contrast, Intelligems: A/B Testing provides a platform for data-driven optimization through A/B testing various aspects of a store, from pricing and discounts to content and shipping options. Its purpose is to allow merchants to make informed decisions based on measurable results. DECO's primary strength lies in its ease of use, with its AI generator promising label creation in just a minute, and its wide range of pre-designed templates. Intelligems, on the other hand, emphasizes data-driven decision-making, offering tools to track custom metrics and deploy winning variants across different segments. The former is well suited for merchants wanting quick visual improvements to product pages, while the latter appeals to those focused on statistically significant improvements in conversion rates and profitability through rigorous testing and analysis. The sheer number of reviews for DECO (843) compared to Intelligems (105) suggests broader appeal, possibly due to its simpler and more immediately gratifying value proposition, even if its rating is only slightly higher (4.9 vs 4.6).
