Our Verdict
For merchants needing a comprehensive logistics solution, particularly in India and handling both domestic and international shipping with features like COD remittance and RTO prediction, Delhivery ‑ Logistics Platform may be an option despite its low rating. However, the low rating warrants caution and thorough investigation of recent reviews and support documentation.
For businesses focused on enhancing the customer experience through flexible delivery scheduling, local delivery, and in-store pickup, Stellar Delivery Date & Pickup is the superior choice. Its high rating and positive reviews suggest a reliable and user-friendly solution, especially suitable for food, florist, grocery, and bakery businesses where specific delivery timing is crucial. Stellar is the better overall recommendation due to the significantly higher rating and larger number of reviews.
Common Questions
Which app is better for international shipping?
Delhivery explicitly states it supports international orders. Stellar provides scheduling functionality for shipping, which may include international, but it's not its primary focus. If international shipping is a core requirement, Delhivery might be initially preferable, but investigate current reviews before deciding.
Can I use both apps together?
Yes, theoretically. You could use Stellar Delivery Date & Pickup to manage the customer's preferred delivery time and then integrate Delhivery to handle the actual shipping and logistics, assuming the two systems are compatible and do not conflict. This would require a higher level of technical configuration.
Which app is easier to set up?
Stellar Delivery Date & Pickup is likely easier to set up due to its focused functionality. Delhivery, being a comprehensive logistics platform, probably requires more configuration and integration effort.
Which app is better for reducing abandoned carts?
Stellar Delivery Date & Pickup can help reduce abandoned carts by offering customers more control over their delivery date and time, which increases satisfaction. Delhivery, while focused on logistics, helps by improving delivery reliability and potentially reducing returns, which indirectly improves customer satisfaction and reduces cart abandonment.
What if I only need local delivery and in-store pickup?
Stellar Delivery Date & Pickup is the clear choice for merchants who only need local delivery and in-store pickup scheduling. Its features are specifically designed for this purpose, and its high rating suggests a reliable and user-friendly experience.
