Deliver with Econt vs xConnectorfor Shopify (2026)
Deliver with Econt and xConnector are both Shopify apps in the Shipping category, but they cater to vastly different needs and audiences. Deliver with Econt appears to be highly localized and focused specifically on enabling online trade within Bulgaria using Econt's delivery and payment modules. It emphasizes ease of setup and flexible payment rules. xConnector, on the other hand, offers a broader solution for shipping label and invoice creation, with support for numerous local couriers across several European countries and integrations with invoicing services. It includes additional features like a return request module, collect points widget, and even a mobile app for picking and packing. The stark difference in ratings and reviews immediately sets them apart. Deliver with Econt has a very low rating (1.7/5) based on a small number of reviews (7), which suggests significant user dissatisfaction or limited adoption. xConnector boasts a perfect 5/5 rating from a substantial number of reviews (61), indicating high user satisfaction and a more mature, reliable product. This difference likely stems from xConnector's wider range of features, broader geographic coverage, and potentially better customer support and overall user experience. The key differentiator lies in their scope: Econt is niche, Bulgaria-focused, while xConnector aims for a more comprehensive, multi-courier shipping solution across multiple European countries.

Our Verdict
For merchants primarily selling within Bulgaria and exclusively using Econt, Deliver with Econt might appear as a quick and easy solution. However, the extremely low rating is a significant red flag and warrants extreme caution. The limited number of reviews also suggests a lack of community support and potential for unresolved issues.
xConnector is the clear winner for merchants selling across Europe, especially those utilizing multiple couriers or requiring advanced features like calculated rates, return management, and mobile picking/packing. The overwhelmingly positive reviews and broader feature set make it a more reliable and versatile choice, despite potentially having a steeper learning curve.
Common Questions
Which app is better for a business shipping exclusively within Bulgaria?
While Deliver with Econt is tailored to Bulgaria, the extremely low rating raises serious concerns. Unless you have a very specific need only Econt can fulfill, xConnector, despite its broader scope, is likely a safer, though potentially more complex, option. Consider thoroughly researching current user feedback for Deliver with Econt before committing.
Does Deliver with Econt support multiple shipping carriers?
No, Deliver with Econt exclusively supports Econt, a Bulgarian shipping carrier.
Does xConnector offer calculated shipping rates?
Yes, xConnector explicitly supports calculated rates with local couriers.
Which app is easier to set up?
Deliver with Econt claims to have a 5-minute setup. However, the low rating may indicate issues even with a quick setup. XConnector might require more configuration given its feature set, but the higher user satisfaction suggests a smoother overall experience.
Does xConnector work outside of Europe?
The provided description doesn't specify if xConnector works outside of Europe. Given its focus on European couriers and countries, it's unlikely to be a suitable solution for international shipping beyond Europe without further information.
