Deliverlitics: Stop Scammers vs Mercado Pago Antifraud Plusfor Shopify (2026)
Deliverlitics: Stop Scammers and Mercado Pago Antifraud Plus both aim to protect Shopify merchants from fraud, but they approach the problem with different focuses. Deliverlitics positions itself as an AI-powered solution specifically targeting 'delivery scams' and 'friendly fraud', utilizing merchant-side data like returns and support messages to identify repeat offenders. It aims to proactively flag high-risk orders *before* fulfillment, allowing for preventative actions. In contrast, Mercado Pago Antifraud Plus concentrates on improving the security of payment approvals, reducing fraudulent payments and chargebacks related to credit/debit cards and Pix. It appears to function more reactively, providing insights into customer purchase behavior to improve approval rates. The primary difference lies in the scope of fraud addressed and the proactive vs. reactive approach. Deliverlitics focuses on post-purchase delivery fraud, while Mercado Pago Antifraud Plus is centered on payment fraud during the checkout process. Deliverlitics emphasizes preventing losses by identifying and flagging risky orders *before* shipping, whereas Mercado Pago Antifraud Plus focuses on increasing approval rates while still mitigating fraudulent *payment* related chargebacks. This difference in focus defines their target audiences: merchants experiencing significant delivery-related fraud will find Deliverlitics more appealing, while those primarily concerned about payment fraud will gravitate towards Mercado Pago Antifraud Plus.

Our Verdict
Choosing between Deliverlitics and Mercado Pago Antifraud Plus depends heavily on the specific fraud problems a merchant faces. If delivery scams and friendly fraud are the primary concern, Deliverlitics is the better choice, as it proactively targets these issues using merchant-specific data to prevent losses before fulfillment. Its strength lies in identifying repeat offenders based on past interactions.
However, if the main issue is payment fraud and high chargeback rates related to credit card transactions, Mercado Pago Antifraud Plus is the more suitable option. Its focus on improving payment approval processes and validating card payments provides enhanced security during the checkout process. Ultimately, Deliverlitics excels in preventing delivery-related fraud, while Mercado Pago Antifraud Plus shines in securing payment transactions. Merchants experiencing both types of fraud might benefit from using both apps, if their budgets allow.
