Deliverlitics: Stop Scammers vs RTO Shield‑ Reduce fake ordersfor Shopify (2026)
Deliverlitics: Stop Scammers and RTO Shield‑ Reduce fake orders both aim to help Shopify merchants combat fraud, but they present very different propositions. Deliverlitics positions itself as an AI-powered solution specifically designed to detect and prevent delivery scams, leveraging merchant-side data for analysis. It boasts features like automated action triggers and identification of repeat offenders. RTO Shield, on the other hand, lacks a clearly defined unique value proposition and, critically, has no user reviews or ratings to support its effectiveness.

Our Verdict
Based on the available information, Deliverlitics: Stop Scammers appears to be the significantly stronger choice for Shopify merchants in 2026. Its AI-powered approach, focus on delivery scams, and positive early reviews suggest a more mature and effective solution. Merchants particularly vulnerable to 'friendly fraud' or experiencing high shipping costs due to fraudulent claims should strongly consider Deliverlitics. RTO Shield‑ Reduce fake orders, with its lack of reviews and vague description, represents a high risk and is difficult to recommend until more information and user feedback become available. It may potentially suit merchants looking for the simplest, most basic solution *if* it delivers on its promises, but caution is strongly advised.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up and use?
Without user reviews or detailed documentation for RTO Shield, it's impossible to say definitively. Deliverlitics, with its AI-driven analysis and customizable actions, may require a steeper initial learning curve but potentially offers more robust protection once configured.
Which app provides better value for money?
Deliverlitics offers a specific incentive: the first 100 delivery scams are free. Given its more defined features and positive reviews, it is likely to provide better value, assuming it effectively reduces losses. RTO Shield's value is currently unproven.
Is Deliverlitics a more comprehensive fraud prevention solution?
Deliverlitics focuses specifically on *delivery* scams, using AI and merchant data to identify fraudulent patterns. It's not necessarily a *comprehensive* fraud prevention tool covering all types of fraudulent activity, but excels in its niche. RTO Shield's scope is broader ('fake orders') but lacks detail regarding its methodology.
Which app is more scalable for larger Shopify stores?
Deliverlitics' AI-powered approach and automated actions suggest better scalability for larger stores dealing with a high volume of orders and potentially more sophisticated scams. RTO Shield's lack of detail makes it difficult to assess its scalability.
What if my store experiences primarily payment fraud, not delivery fraud?
If your store's main issue is payment fraud unrelated to delivery (e.g., stolen credit cards), Deliverlitics, while potentially helpful, may not be the optimal solution. You should consider apps specializing in payment fraud detection. RTO Shield’s broader description of reducing fake orders could include payment fraud, but its lack of validation makes it a less reliable choice compared to specialized payment fraud apps.
