Deliverlitics: Stop Scammers vs Subunofor Shopify (2026)
Deliverlitics: Stop Scammers and Subuno both aim to reduce fraud and chargebacks for Shopify merchants, but they approach the problem from different angles. Deliverlitics positions itself as an AI-powered solution specializing in delivery scams and "friendly fraud," leveraging merchant-side data like returns and support messages to identify repeat offenders and high-risk orders *before* fulfillment. They offer automated actions based on risk levels, and emphasize identifying trusted customers to minimize unnecessary friction. Subuno, on the other hand, presents itself as a more general, rules-based fraud prevention platform focused on credit card fraud and chargeback prevention. It provides customization options without coding and incorporates 15+ manual review tools alongside integrated third-party data analytics. Subuno focuses on order screening based on risk score, velocity, and address mismatches, offering automated flagging, holding, or rejection of suspicious orders. Our Verdict
For merchants primarily concerned with delivery-related fraud and those experiencing high rates of "friendly fraud", Deliverlitics: Stop Scammers appears to be a more specialized and potentially effective solution. Its AI-powered approach and focus on merchant-side data could provide unique insights into customer behavior. The "First 100 Delivery Scams Free!" offer is an attractive way to test its effectiveness.
Merchants seeking a broader fraud prevention solution that addresses credit card fraud and chargebacks, and who desire more manual control and oversight through review tools, would likely find Subuno a better fit. Its rules-based system and integration with third-party data offer a flexible and customizable approach to fraud management.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up?
Without hands-on testing, it's difficult to say definitively. However, Subuno's emphasis on "customize fraud checks without coding" suggests it might be slightly easier for non-technical users. Deliverlitics' AI engine may require an initial learning period to train on merchant-specific data.
Which app is better for a small business?
If the small business primarily experiences delivery-related scams, Deliverlitics might be the more focused solution. However, if credit card fraud is a more significant concern, Subuno's wider range of features may be more beneficial, even with a steeper learning curve.
Does either app integrate with other fraud prevention tools?
Subuno explicitly states it integrates with third-party tools for advanced data analytics. Deliverlitics does not mention specific integrations, focusing instead on its internal analysis of merchant data.
Which app provides more control over fraud detection?
Subuno appears to offer more direct control, as it's rules-based, allowing merchants to define the criteria for flagging orders. Deliverlitics, while customizable in terms of workflow, relies more on its AI engine for identifying potentially fraudulent orders.
Which app is more focused on automating the fraud prevention process?
Both apps emphasize automation. Deliverlitics automates actions based on risk levels detected by its AI. Subuno automates flagging, holding, or rejecting orders based on predefined rules. The level of automation depends on the merchant's configuration.
