Deliverlitics: Stop Scammers vs TrustDecision Fraud Preventionfor Shopify (2026)
Deliverlitics: Stop Scammers and TrustDecision Fraud Prevention both aim to reduce fraud on Shopify stores, but they approach the problem differently. Deliverlitics focuses on identifying delivery scams and 'friendly fraud' by analyzing merchant-side data like returns and support messages to spot repeat scammers. This data-driven approach allows for a more customized and proactive fraud prevention strategy. TrustDecision, on the other hand, takes a broader approach, aiming to prevent various types of fraud while reducing false declines and offering chargeback protection. It checks each order and labels them as Accept, Review, or Reject, simplifying order management for merchants. The key difference lies in their data focus and level of customization. Deliverlitics is geared towards merchants struggling specifically with delivery scams and seeking in-depth analysis of their own operational data to identify and combat fraud patterns. TrustDecision aims for a more general fraud prevention solution, reducing chargebacks and false declines without the need for extensive merchant-side data analysis. Deliverlitics emphasizes automation and customization, allowing merchants to tailor their fraud response to their specific workflow. TrustDecision emphasizes ease of use with its simple Accept, Review, Reject labeling system for orders.

Our Verdict
For Shopify merchants specifically battling delivery scams and friendly fraud, Deliverlitics: Stop Scammers is likely the better choice. Its ability to analyze merchant-side data and automate customized responses offers a more targeted and potentially effective solution. The 'First 100 Delivery Scams Free!' offer also makes it an attractive option for merchants to test its effectiveness without significant upfront investment.
However, for merchants seeking a more general fraud prevention solution that's easy to implement and manage, TrustDecision Fraud Prevention could be a suitable alternative. Its simple Accept, Review, Reject labeling system offers a straightforward way to manage potentially fraudulent orders, although its lack of customization options might not be ideal for all businesses. The significantly lower number of reviews for TrustDecision suggests it may be a newer or less established app.
