Deliverlitics: Stop Scammers vs WeTech‑Dispute Resolutionfor Shopify (2026)
Deliverlitics: Stop Scammers and WeTech-Dispute Resolution both aim to reduce fraud and chargebacks for Shopify merchants in 2026, but they approach the problem from different angles. Deliverlitics focuses on *preventing* fraud by identifying high-risk orders *before* fulfillment using AI and merchant-specific data analysis. This proactive approach targets merchants struggling with delivery scams and “friendly fraud”. WeTech-Dispute Resolution, on the other hand, concentrates on *resolving* disputes *after* they arise by integrating with Mastercard/Ethoca and Visa to offer real-time dispute alerts and auto-refund options. The primary differentiator lies in their timing and method. Deliverlitics aims to stop fraudulent orders *before* they ship, while WeTech-Dispute Resolution focuses on managing disputes *after* a purchase has already been made and a problem has occurred. Another key distinction is the data reliance; Deliverlitics leverages internal merchant data (returns, refunds, support messages) to train its AI, whereas WeTech-Dispute Resolution relies on external integrations with payment processors. Finally, the social proof is starkly different: Deliverlitics has a perfect rating with a few reviews, while WeTech-Dispute Resolution has no reviews and a zero rating.

Our Verdict
For merchants primarily concerned with proactively preventing fraud and delivery scams, especially those experiencing high rates of 'friendly fraud' and who have sufficient historical data (returns, refunds, support tickets), Deliverlitics: Stop Scammers appears to be the stronger choice, due to its AI-powered, data-driven approach and positive (albeit limited) social proof. The free scam protection for the first 100 scams offer is also attractive.
WeTech-Dispute Resolution, while potentially useful, carries significant risk due to its lack of reviews and zero rating. Merchants might consider it only if their primary goal is simply lowering chargeback rates through automated refunds and if they have a strong, existing relationship with Mastercard/Ethoca and Visa. Given the current data, Deliverlitics is generally the safer and potentially more effective option for most merchants in 2026, unless WeTech-Dispute Resolution can demonstrate improved performance and garner positive user reviews.
Common Questions
Which app is better for preventing fraudulent orders from ever being shipped?
Deliverlitics is designed specifically to identify and flag high-risk orders *before* they are fulfilled, making it the better choice for preventing fraudulent shipments.
Which app is better for reducing chargeback rates?
Both apps aim to reduce chargeback rates. WeTech-Dispute Resolution directly targets this by offering automated refunds upon receiving dispute alerts. Deliverlitics does it indirectly by stopping fraudulent orders before they lead to chargebacks.
Does either app guarantee a 100% reduction in fraud or chargebacks?
Neither app can realistically guarantee a 100% reduction. Fraud prevention and dispute resolution are complex challenges, and both apps should be viewed as tools to mitigate risk rather than eliminate it entirely.
Which app is easier to set up and use?
Without user reviews for WeTech-Dispute Resolution, it's difficult to assess its ease of use. Deliverlitics' focus on automating actions suggests it aims for a streamlined user experience, but this would need to be validated by additional user feedback. Deliverlitics' free first scam protection also helps merchants test drive their offering before committing.
Which app integrates with my existing Shopify store's data?
Deliverlitics explicitly mentions analyzing merchant-side data like returns, reships, refund requests, and support messages. WeTech-Dispute Resolution focuses on integrations with payment processors like Mastercard/Ethoca and Visa, not necessarily your store's internal data.
