Our Verdict
For merchants prioritizing image SEO and seeking a hands-off solution to manage ALT text across their entire store, Describerry is the better option, despite the limited review count. Its AI-powered automation makes it ideal for stores with a large number of images or limited time for manual updates. However, the very limited number of reviews should give the merchant pause and prompt further investigation.
TestParty: Accessibility Scan is more suitable for merchants who want to quickly assess the accessibility of their homepage and identify potential areas for improvement without committing to a paid solution. Its free scan provides actionable insights and a pathway to expert consultation if needed. If the merchant is willing to dedicate manual effort to fixing identified issues, and only focuses on homepage improvements, this tool can be valuable.
