Deshi Fulfillment vs EZ Fulfill ‑ Auto Fulfillmentfor Shopify (2026)
Deshi Fulfillment and EZ Fulfill ‑ Auto Fulfillment both aim to streamline order management, but they take very different approaches. Deshi Fulfillment focuses on automating order tag updates to provide real-time status visibility throughout the fulfillment process. Its strength lies in its customizability for specific business workflows and potential for enhanced internal team coordination and customer communication through automated updates. It is designed for merchants who want to improve order visibility and communication through detailed, automated tag updates at each fulfillment stage. EZ Fulfill, on the other hand, focuses on bulk updating tracking numbers and fulfilling orders via CSV or Excel files, offering automated fulfillment through integrations with services like FTP/SFTP, Dropbox, and Amazon S3. It aims to save time and effort for merchants who process large volumes of orders and need to integrate with external fulfillment providers or suppliers. The primary difference lies in their core functionality. Deshi Fulfillment automates order status updates within Shopify using tags. EZ Fulfill focuses on automating the fulfillment process itself using external data sources. EZ Fulfill provides features like multiple fulfillment locations support, SKU-based fulfillment, and the ability to mark orders as paid or add notes, providing a more comprehensive order management solution compared to Deshi Fulfillment's tag-based approach, given its current feature set as indicated in the description. Deshi Fulfillment's current lack of reviews and a 0/5 rating is a major consideration when compared to EZ Fulfill's 3.8/5 rating and 17 reviews, highlighting the potential risk in choosing the former.

Our Verdict
EZ Fulfill ‑ Auto Fulfillment is the safer bet for most Shopify merchants in 2026, based on the available information. Its higher rating and existing reviews indicate a level of trustworthiness and functionality that Deshi Fulfillment currently lacks. EZ Fulfill is especially well-suited for merchants who manage high order volumes and rely on external fulfillment services or suppliers. The ability to bulk update tracking numbers, automatically fulfill orders via external data sources, and send customer notifications offers significant time savings.
Deshi Fulfillment, while promising in its focus on automated tag updates, carries more risk due to its lack of reviews and unknown performance. It *could* be a valuable tool for merchants who prioritize internal workflow optimization and customer communication through real-time order status updates, *if* it delivers on its promises. However, until it garners positive reviews and demonstrates its reliability, it's difficult to recommend it over the established EZ Fulfill ‑ Auto Fulfillment.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up and use?
Based on their descriptions, Deshi Fulfillment *might* be easier initially due to its focus on automated tag updates based on Shopify's order workflow. However, EZ Fulfill's integration with multiple external data sources could provide longer-term efficiency once configured.
Which app is better for improving customer communication?
Both apps offer features for improving customer communication. Deshi Fulfillment aims to keep customers informed with real-time tag updates, while EZ Fulfill allows you to send emails with tracking information. The better app depends on the specific communication needs. If detailed order stage updates are crucial, Deshi Fulfillment is better, whereas EZ Fulfill is superior if tracking number delivery is the main requirement.
Which app is better for merchants using 3PL services?
EZ Fulfill ‑ Auto Fulfillment is specifically designed to work with 3PL services by supporting various file formats and offering integrations with FTP/SFTP, Dropbox, and Amazon S3. Deshi Fulfillment does not explicitly mention 3PL integration.
Which app provides better control over the fulfillment process?
EZ Fulfill ‑ Auto Fulfillment offers more control over the fulfillment process due to its ability to mark orders as paid, tag orders, add notes, fulfill by SKU, and manage orders across multiple locations. Deshi Fulfillment primarily focuses on tag updates, offering less granular control over individual order actions.
Is it possible to use both Deshi Fulfillment and EZ Fulfill ‑ Auto Fulfillment together?
Potentially, yes. Deshi Fulfillment's automated tag updates could complement EZ Fulfill's bulk fulfillment capabilities. For instance, EZ Fulfill could handle the initial fulfillment and tracking updates, while Deshi Fulfillment could automatically update order tags as the order progresses through various stages. However, compatibility testing would be necessary.
