Deshi Fulfillment vs SplitOrderfor Shopify (2026)
Deshi Fulfillment and SplitOrder, both apps found within the 'Orders' and 'Order editing' categories on the Shopify app store, target different aspects of order management. Deshi Fulfillment positions itself as a solution to streamline order management through automated tag updates at each fulfillment stage, focusing on internal team coordination and customer updates. Its value proposition centers around improved workflow efficiency and real-time information dissemination, appealing to merchants prioritizing internal process optimization and customer communication. In contrast, SplitOrder concentrates on order splitting based on defined rules and automating fulfillment workflows, enabling merchants to route items to different locations and manage complex order requirements. SplitOrder caters to merchants with intricate fulfillment needs, such as those dealing with pre-orders, oversized items, or items from multiple suppliers requiring separate handling. Its integration with ShipStation further enhances its appeal to merchants already leveraging that platform for shipping management. A significant differentiating factor is user validation: SplitOrder has a considerable number of reviews with a high average rating while Deshi Fulfillment has no reviews and, consequently, a zero rating. This lack of user feedback makes Deshi Fulfillment a considerably riskier choice in 2026.

Our Verdict
SplitOrder appears to be the more reliable and feature-rich option for merchants requiring advanced order management capabilities. Its order splitting functionality, coupled with ShipStation integration, caters to businesses with complex fulfillment requirements. The positive user reviews further solidify its standing. Deshi Fulfillment, while potentially useful for simpler order status updates, lacks any user validation, making it a risky proposition in 2026.
For a merchant simply needing to automate basic order status updates for internal teams and customers and willing to take a risk on a brand-new, untested app, Deshi Fulfillment *might* be worth exploring. However, the absence of reviews strongly suggests that merchants should thoroughly investigate its functionality and support before committing. For any business needing more robust order splitting and fulfillment automation, SplitOrder is the clearly superior choice.
