Desku: Leading AI Chatbot vs Relocate+ Order Editorfor Shopify (2026)
Desku: Leading AI Chatbot and Relocate+ Order Editor both aim to enhance the customer experience on Shopify stores, but they tackle this goal from very different angles. Desku focuses on automating customer support through an AI-powered chatbot, offering 24/7 assistance, order tracking, and product recommendations. It centralizes communication across multiple channels and provides AI-driven tools for support teams. Relocate+ Order Editor, on the other hand, empowers customers to self-manage their orders by editing shipping addresses, products, and other details, thus reducing the need for direct support. The key difference lies in their approach: Desku aims to deflect support tickets through AI automation, while Relocate+ Order Editor reduces support requests by enabling customer self-service. Desku's strength lies in its omnichannel support capabilities and AI-driven efficiency, suitable for merchants looking to scale their support operations. Relocate+ Order Editor excels in providing convenience and control to customers, leading to higher satisfaction and fewer errors. The low review count of Desku is a concern though, compared to Relocate+ Order Editor.

Our Verdict
If you're a merchant struggling with a high volume of customer support inquiries and seeking to automate responses and provide 24/7 assistance, Desku: Leading AI Chatbot could be a valuable tool. However, the very low review count should be a big consideration. If, on the other hand, you're dealing with frequent order changes, address errors, or customers wanting to modify their orders, Relocate+ Order Editor is the better choice. It empowers customers to resolve these issues themselves, saving you time and improving their experience. Given its superior rating and review count, Relocate+ Order Editor is a safer bet for most merchants looking to improve order management and reduce support burden through self-service.
