Our Verdict
For merchants primarily concerned with accurate duty and tax calculations for international shipments using DHL, the DHL Duty and Tax Calculator is likely the preferred choice. Its perfect rating suggests effectiveness, although the low review count warrants caution. Conversely, if a merchant needs to cater to both B2B and B2C customers, or manage complex tax rules based on location, product, or customer, Singleton | Dual Price Display is the better option. Its higher review volume indicates broader adoption and reliability, despite a slightly lower rating. The feature set clearly targets a more diverse audience with sophisticated pricing display needs. Ultimately, the choice hinges on the complexity of the merchant's tax environment and shipping strategy.
Given the state of the Shopify ecosystem in 2026, tools like Singleton, that can manage pricing and customer-specific conditions will be increasingly valuable. If a business can afford only one now, and hopes to expand both shipping partners and sales channels, Singleton would be the more versatile tool.
