DHL Express (Official) vs SellerDash: AusPost Shippingfor Shopify (2026)
In 2026, Shopify merchants choosing a shipping solution will find DHL Express (Official) and SellerDash: AusPost Shipping offering distinctly different services. DHL Express focuses on international shipping via DHL Express, offering features like live shipping rates at checkout, automated order syncing, and paperless customs clearance, suggesting a target audience of businesses heavily involved in global commerce. SellerDash: AusPost Shipping, on the other hand, is geared specifically towards Australian merchants utilizing Australia Post's MyPost Business and eParcel services, emphasizing features like bulk label printing, live rates for domestic and international shipping via AusPost, and order detail editing. The most significant difference lies in the shipping carrier supported: DHL Express (Official) exclusively supports DHL Express, while SellerDash: AusPost Shipping focuses solely on Australia Post. The app rating also reflects a key difference in perceived user satisfaction, with SellerDash: AusPost Shipping scoring significantly higher than DHL Express (Official) and having far more reviews. This suggests a potentially more polished user experience and better support for its specific carrier. While both aim to simplify shipping workflows, their target audience and the carriers they support are completely different. Therefore, the 'best' option depends almost entirely on whether the merchant ships with DHL Express or Australia Post.

Our Verdict
For merchants primarily shipping internationally using DHL Express, the DHL Express (Official) app might be a necessity, offering specific integrations for DHL's services. However, the low rating and limited reviews should raise concerns, urging careful consideration of alternatives or thorough testing of the app's functionality. Conversely, for Australian merchants relying on Australia Post's MyPost Business or eParcel services, SellerDash: AusPost Shipping appears to be the superior choice due to its significantly higher rating, larger user base, and features specifically designed for AusPost workflows. Its focus on efficient label printing, live AusPost rates, and order management makes it a compelling option for businesses shipping within and from Australia using Australia Post.
Common Questions
Which app is better for international shipping?
DHL Express (Official) is designed explicitly for international shipping with DHL Express. SellerDash: AusPost Shipping supports international shipping through Australia Post, but its primary focus appears to be domestic shipping within Australia. Your choice depends on your preferred carrier for international shipments.

Based on the description provided, SellerDash: AusPost Shipping solely supports Australia Post's MyPost Business and eParcel services. It does not appear to offer support for other shipping carriers.
Which app offers better customer support?
The DHL Express (Official) app description claims full technical support for DHL Express account holders. User reviews would provide further insights.
Which app is easier to use?
It's difficult to definitively say which app is easier to use based solely on the descriptions. However, the significantly higher rating of SellerDash: AusPost Shipping may suggest a more user-friendly interface and a smoother overall experience compared to DHL Express (Official).

Both apps offer features that cater to high shipping volumes, such as bulk label printing and automated workflows. However, the paperless customs clearance of DHL Express (Official) might be more crucial for businesses dealing with high volumes of international shipments using DHL. The efficient batch processing of SellerDash might be beneficial regardless of shipping volume, as its focus is specifically on Australia Post's processes.
