Digital Downloads ‑ Digitalify vs EDP ‑ Easy Digital Productsfor Shopify (2026)
Digital Downloads ‑ Digitalify and EDP ‑ Easy Digital Products both cater to Shopify merchants looking to sell digital goods. Digitalify positions itself as a customizable solution that allows merchants to deliver custom digital products and match their brand identity. The focus is on a simple three-step process and full customization. In contrast, EDP - Easy Digital Products lacks specific details regarding customization but boasts a high rating and a significant number of reviews, suggesting established reliability and user satisfaction. Given the lack of user reviews for Digital Downloads - Digitalify, its claims about ease of use and brand customization, while appealing, are currently unsubstantiated. EDP - Easy Digital Products, with a 5/5 rating based on 175 reviews, presents a safer and more proven choice, especially for merchants prioritizing reliability and readily available support. Digitalify may appeal to merchants willing to take a risk on a new app for potentially greater customization, but they should be prepared for possible teething issues and a lack of community support.

Our Verdict
For most Shopify merchants in 2026, EDP ‑ Easy Digital Products is the safer and more sensible choice due to its perfect rating and substantial number of positive reviews. The proven track record suggests a reliable app that delivers on its promise. Digital Downloads ‑ Digitalify is a gamble at this point, best suited for extremely brand-conscious merchants willing to experiment and potentially deal with the growing pains of a new app. If customization and a highly tailored digital delivery experience are non-negotiable and there is sufficient technical expertise within the merchant's team to troubleshoot, then Digitalify might be worth considering despite the lack of user feedback.
