Our Verdict
For merchants in 2026, Digital Downloads ‑ MEGA appears to be the stronger choice, especially for those who need advanced features like download limits, license key management, or the ability to sell unique files per order. The existing positive reviews and comprehensive feature set suggest a more reliable and mature application. Given the lack of user feedback and feature specifics for GM LinkSend Direct, it is difficult to recommend it to any merchant unless they are willing to take a significant risk on an unproven application. It might be suitable for developers looking to experiment or merchants with extremely basic digital product needs who are comfortable with potential instability, but due diligence is strongly advised.
