Our Verdict
For merchants seeking a highly customizable solution with branding opportunities and download control, Digital Downloads ‑ MEGA appears to be the stronger choice given its positive rating and established user base, although the lack of stated analytics could be a downside. However, merchants prioritizing a quick, easy, and code-free setup with built-in analytics will likely find MP Digital Downloads more appealing, provided they are comfortable being an early adopter without existing reviews. The choice depends largely on the merchant's technical skills and priorities regarding customization versus ease of use. The absence of reviews for MP Digital Downloads at this stage makes it a riskier choice.
