Our Verdict
For merchants prioritizing ease of use, unlimited downloads, and broad file type support, Digital Downloads ‑ MEGA is the clear choice, especially given its positive reviews. Its straightforward approach and branding capabilities make it suitable for a wide range of digital products.
However, if your primary concern is content protection, customer engagement, and analytics specifically for ebooks, audiobooks, or videos, and you are willing to invest in a more sophisticated setup involving a branded app, Papertrell ‑ Digital Products might be a better fit, provided that they can prove the app stability and feature set given their current lack of reviews. The need for a branded app depends on the merchant's resources and focus on customer experience.
