Our Verdict
Based purely on the provided data, EDP ‑ Easy Digital Products appears to be the stronger choice for most merchants in 2026, given its perfect 5/5 rating. This strong endorsement suggests a highly positive user experience. Digital Downloads, while having more reviews (indicating potentially a more mature app or more users exposed to issues), its low rating is a major concern. If a merchant values positive feedback and a streamlined experience above all else, EDP ‑ Easy Digital Products is the better option. However, merchants might consider Digital Downloads if specific features like file type compatibility (PDFs, JPEGs, ZIPs), or download limit customization are crucial and unmet by EDP, if these are important features.
