Our Verdict
For merchants prioritizing ease of use and basic functionality, especially those new to selling digital downloads or dealing with less sensitive content, Digital Downloads might suffice. However, the significantly lower rating raises concerns about user satisfaction and potential issues. Flash Digital Downloads, with its perfect rating and focus on security and automation, is better suited for businesses selling software, music, videos, or other digital products requiring strong copyright protection and automated delivery. The advanced features like watermarking, license keys, and upsell capabilities make it a more robust and scalable solution, justifying the potentially higher learning curve.
