Digital Sales Bell & Counter vs Synctrack PayPal Tracking Syncfor Shopify (2026)
Digital Sales Bell & Counter and Synctrack PayPal Tracking Sync are both Shopify apps with perfect 5/5 ratings, but they address drastically different needs. Digital Sales Bell & Counter (PingBell) focuses on internal motivation and team celebration by visually and audibly announcing new orders on any screen. Its core value proposition is creating a positive and engaging atmosphere for the team, especially for businesses prioritizing internal morale. Synctrack PayPal Tracking Sync, on the other hand, is designed to streamline order tracking information to PayPal and Stripe. This focuses on improving cash flow, reducing disputes, and building trust with PayPal, predominantly benefiting businesses prioritizing operational efficiency and compliance with payment processing standards. The major difference lies in their objectives. PingBell enhances team morale and provides a visual representation of sales success. Synctrack aims to automate a critical business process related to payment processing. PingBell's 'custom sound' and 'branded digital flip counter' indicate a focus on aesthetics and creating a unique experience, whereas Synctrack focuses on features like 'auto-sync PayPal tracking info' and 'free store reviews with PayPal standards,' highlighting its focus on practicality and compliance. PingBell seems ideal for smaller businesses or those highly focused on internal team culture, while Synctrack is probably more useful for established e-commerce businesses that handle high volumes of sales or transactions needing streamlined financial management.

Our Verdict
For merchants seeking to create a fun, visually engaging experience around new orders and prioritize team motivation, Digital Sales Bell & Counter (PingBell) is the better choice. Its simplicity and focus on customizable celebrations make it perfect for fostering a positive atmosphere. The substantial number of reviews suggest a reliable and effective solution for the intended purpose. If you have PayPal funds being held and want to prevent this, use Synctrack.
