DigitalGenius vs OC Product Enquiryfor Shopify (2026)
DigitalGenius and OC Product Enquiry, while both falling under the 'Support - Other' Shopify category, target vastly different aspects of customer interaction. DigitalGenius positions itself as an AI-powered concierge service, aiming for full resolution of customer service requests and increased conversions through personalized product recommendations. It leverages conversational, visual, and generative AI, integrating deeply with back-end systems like carriers and ERPs. Its target audience seems to be larger merchants with complex operations seeking automation and advanced customer service capabilities. OC Product Enquiry, on the other hand, focuses on simplifying product inquiry handling, emphasizing a user-friendly interface and robust reporting. OC Product Enquiry's core value lies in streamlining customer interaction, enabling seamless integration with existing stores. The app targets merchants looking for a straightforward solution to manage product inquiries and improve sales performance. The lack of reviews for DigitalGenius compared to the 4.2 rating and 5 reviews for OC Product Enquiry, despite the seemingly small sample size, suggests a different adoption rate or market presence. This difference, coupled with the technology employed, suggests that DigitalGenius is either newer or aims for a smaller, more specialized market segment needing AI solutions, while OC Product Enquiry caters to a broader audience with more basic needs.

Our Verdict
For merchants looking to fully automate their customer service and leverage AI for personalized product recommendations and issue resolution, DigitalGenius appears to be the app of choice, assuming it lives up to its claims. However, the lack of reviews is a significant risk. Merchants should proceed with caution and thoroughly test the app before committing.
If a merchant is primarily concerned with simplifying the process of handling product inquiries and improving basic customer interaction without the need for complex AI integrations, OC Product Enquiry is the more suitable option. The positive rating, albeit based on a small number of reviews, suggests a reliable and user-friendly solution for its intended purpose. The OC Product Enquiry offers a more straightforward path towards customer satisfaction.
