Digiware CustomCraft Pro vs SB Prescription Eye Lensfor Shopify (2026)
Digiware CustomCraft Pro and SB Prescription Eye Lens are both Shopify apps that offer customization options for products via customer input and file uploads. However, they cater to vastly different niches. Digiware CustomCraft Pro aims to provide general product customization, allowing customers to specify dimensions, upload designs, and create bespoke items. It broadly targets merchants looking to offer highly personalized products beyond standard options. The key selling point appears to be enabling customers to create completely unique products. However, the absence of any reviews or rating makes it a risky choice. Conversely, SB Prescription Eye Lens focuses exclusively on the eyewear market. It offers a comprehensive solution for selling prescription lenses and glasses online, enabling customers to upload prescriptions, specify parameters, and choose lens options. The core difference lies in their specialization. Digiware CustomCraft Pro aims for versatility across various product categories, promising general product customization. It's theoretically applicable to clothing, accessories, or any product where personalized specifications are important. In contrast, SB Prescription Eye Lens is purpose-built for optical stores. It provides specific features tailored to the complexities of prescription eyewear sales. Its strengths include managing different prescription types, pupillary distance, and add-on product pricing. The 5-star rating and 16 reviews also suggest a level of user satisfaction that Digiware CustomCraft Pro lacks. The absence of reviews for Digiware CustomCraft Pro makes it difficult to assess its usability, reliability, and overall value compared to the well-received SB Prescription Eye Lens.

Our Verdict
For eyewear businesses seeking to sell prescription lenses and glasses online, SB Prescription Eye Lens is the clear winner. Its specialized features, positive reviews, and high rating indicate a reliable and effective solution for the complexities of this niche. It’s built to handle the nuances of prescriptions and lens options. Digiware CustomCraft Pro, while promising versatility for general product customization, lacks the necessary validation and targeted functionality for eyewear. Its zero rating and absence of reviews make it a riskier choice, especially given the proven success of SB Prescription Eye Lens in the eyewear sector.
Merchants in other sectors requiring general customization may consider Digiware CustomCraft Pro, but should proceed with extreme caution and conduct thorough testing due to the lack of social proof. Given the risks associated with an unproven app, it's recommended to look for alternative general customization apps with existing reviews and a positive track record. Ultimately, the choice depends on the merchant's specific needs, risk tolerance, and the importance of a proven track record.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up and use?
Based on available data, it's difficult to definitively say which is easier. However, SB Prescription Eye Lens likely offers a smoother setup process for eyewear stores due to its specialized features and seemingly positive user experience reflected in its 5-star rating and 16 reviews. Digiware CustomCraft Pro's ease of use is unknown.
Which app offers better support?
Neither app listing provides information regarding customer support. More research is needed to understand the level of support for each app.
Which app is more affordable?
Pricing information is not provided for either app. It's impossible to compare their costs based on the available data.
Which app is better for businesses outside the eyewear niche?
Potentially Digiware CustomCraft Pro, but only in theory. It aims to offer general customization options, but the lack of reviews makes it a risky choice. Thorough testing is essential. SB Prescription Eye Lens is explicitly designed for the eyewear market and would be unsuitable for other industries.
What are the risks of using Digiware CustomCraft Pro given its lack of reviews?
The primary risk is uncertainty. Without reviews, it's impossible to assess the app's reliability, functionality, ease of use, or customer support quality. There's a chance the app is buggy, poorly designed, or even abandoned by its developers.
