Our Verdict
Discord Connect is ideal for merchants who already have a strong Discord community and want to integrate it with their Shopify store. It simplifies login with Discord authentication and allows for advanced features like role-based access to exclusive content and Discord notifications. It is suited to merchants who want to give their customers a fun and rewarding experience. Enhance: Approve New Customers is better suited for stores that require tight control over user access, such as membership-based businesses or stores selling sensitive products. Its manual approval process allows merchants to vet new customers and prevent unauthorized access to their store. It's most useful to stores needing controlled growth. Given the very different functionality and target users, there isn't one app that is universally 'better' – the best choice depends heavily on the specific needs of the merchant.
