Our Verdict
Based on the information provided, Native Metafields seems the more reliable choice currently, given its positive user reviews, although the review sample size is small. Discount Deck, despite its focus on a potentially valuable feature, lacks any user reviews, making it a riskier choice. For merchants focusing on custom product data and metafields, Native Metafields appears to be the superior tool. Merchants wanting to boost coupon usage might find Discount Deck appealing, but they would be taking a leap of faith due to the absence of reviews. It is crucial to investigate whether Discount Deck has gained any traction and positive reviews since 2026 before making a decision.
If conversion rate optimization via coupons is paramount, a merchant might consider looking for alternative, better-reviewed coupon apps within the Shopify app store.
