Our Verdict
While both apps aim to improve sales, they employ distinct strategies. Discount Labelz is best suited for merchants with limited resources or time, who need a simple, visual way to showcase discounts and potentially improve conversion on a product by product basis. Smart Stories | Video Story is a better fit for merchants who want to invest in a richer, more engaging brand experience through video content, user-generated content, and interactive stories. Given the significantly higher rating and focus on modern marketing trends, Smart Stories | Video Story appears to offer a more comprehensive and potentially impactful solution for a broader range of Shopify businesses, especially those focused on brand building and customer engagement.
