Our Verdict
For Shopify merchants requiring comprehensive control over a wide range of discount types, including shipping discounts and the ability to run promotions across different campaign types, Discount Mixer: Bulk Discounts is the more suitable choice. Its strength lies in its flexibility and diverse discount options. On the other hand, if a merchant's primary goal is to boost AOV through strategic product bundles, BOGO offers, and AI-driven upsells with built-in A/B testing capabilities, Rapi Bundles BOGO Free gifts is the superior option. The higher number of reviews for Rapi Bundles also suggests a potentially more mature and widely adopted solution, although smaller shops may appreciate the more specific control Discount Mixer gives.
Ultimately, the best choice depends on the specific promotional strategy and priorities of the merchant. If a versatile discount toolbox is needed, Discount Mixer is the better bet. If focused bundling and upselling are the priorities, Rapi Bundles takes the lead. Merchants should carefully weigh their needs against the feature sets and perceived ease of use of each app.
