Discount Plus ‑ Discounts vs Kite Discount, Free Gift, BOGOfor Shopify (2026)
Discount Plus ‑ Discounts and Kite Discount, Free Gift, BOGO are both Shopify apps designed to enhance promotional capabilities beyond native Shopify features. Discount Plus emphasizes advanced, rules-based discounts with highly customizable conditions and limits. It targets merchants needing granular control over discount eligibility based on product/customer tags, quantity, order value, and more, offering flexibility in creating complex discount logic. Kite Discount, on the other hand, focuses on more commonly used promotional tactics like BOGO, tiered discounts, and free gifts with purchase. Our Verdict
If you require highly specific and complex discount scenarios with detailed control over every aspect of eligibility, Discount Plus ‑ Discounts is likely the better choice. Its advanced rule-based system caters to merchants who need to implement intricate promotional strategies. However, given the very low review count, potential users should thoroughly investigate the app's reliability and support.

The large number of reviews indicates a more mature and widely used app. Kite Discount's focus on ready-to-use modules and conversion-boosting features makes it ideal for merchants seeking a streamlined approach to promotions.
