Discount Plus ‑ Discounts vs Rockit Discounts & Sales Appfor Shopify (2026)
Discount Plus ‑ Discounts and Rockit Discounts & Sales App both aim to help Shopify merchants increase sales through discounts, but they approach the problem with different strengths. Discount Plus focuses on highly customizable, rules-based discounts, allowing merchants to create complex promotions based on specific conditions, customer segments, and product attributes. This enables advanced strategies like tiered pricing, BOGO offers, and wholesale pricing. Rockit Discounts & Sales App, on the other hand, prioritizes ease of use and speed, focusing on bulk editing, flash sales, and scheduled price changes. It emphasizes visual cues like sale badges and countdown timers to create a sense of urgency and drive immediate sales. While Discount Plus appears tailored for merchants seeking granular control over their discount strategies and complex promotional campaigns, Rockit Discounts & Sales App targets users prioritizing rapid implementation of simple, visually engaging sales promotions. The review counts also present a stark contrast: Discount Plus has very few reviews, indicating a newer product or a niche user base, whereas Rockit has a large number of reviews. This suggests broader appeal and potentially greater market penetration. The core difference lies in their approach: Discount Plus prioritizes flexibility and customization, while Rockit prioritizes speed and visual impact for broad sales campaigns.

Our Verdict
If you need highly customized discount rules, advanced segmentation (like using customer tags to target specific groups), and complex promotions like BOGO or tiered pricing, Discount Plus ‑ Discounts is the better choice, assuming you're willing to invest the time in learning its more complex interface. However, its low review count should be considered. Rockit Discounts & Sales App shines for merchants needing a quick and easy way to launch flash sales, schedule price changes, and create visual urgency with sale badges and countdown timers. The substantial number of positive reviews suggests it's reliable and user-friendly. For most stores needing basic but impactful sales tools, Rockit Discounts & Sales App is the stronger contender due to its user-friendliness and proven track record.
Ultimately, the best app depends on your specific needs. If you value deep customization and aren't afraid of complexity, Discount Plus may be worth exploring despite its limited reviews. If you value ease of use, rapid deployment, and visual impact, Rockit Discounts & Sales App is the clear winner.
