Discount Saved Message ‑ SBT vs DPO Dynamic Product Optionsfor Shopify (2026)
Discount Saved Message - SBT focuses specifically on highlighting savings on product pages, particularly for products with variants offering different discounts. Its core strength lies in its simplicity and ease of use, requiring no coding and offering variant-specific discount display. It appears tailored to merchants who want a quick and straightforward solution to visually emphasize discounts and potentially increase conversions through perceived savings. DPO Dynamic Product Options, on the other hand, judging by the name and far higher review count, likely addresses a broader set of product option customization needs. While both apps fall under the "Pricing" category, DPO appears to be a more comprehensive solution for offering dynamic product options. The number of reviews suggests greater adoption and likely a more mature feature set, though without a description, it's challenging to directly compare feature-by-feature. It's possible DPO encompasses discount display as one aspect of its functionality, or could handle complex product configurations beyond simple discount messaging. Given the available data, Discount Saved Message - SBT is positioned as a niche, easy-to-use app for highlighting discounts tied to product variants, while DPO Dynamic Product Options seems to be a more robust and versatile application for broader product option and potentially pricing adjustments.

Our Verdict
For merchants seeking a simple and direct way to showcase discounts, especially those dependent on product variants, Discount Saved Message - SBT offers an attractive, easy-to-implement solution. The promise of no coding makes it accessible to a wide range of users. However, the very low number of reviews should be a consideration.
On the other hand, if a merchant anticipates needing advanced product options beyond simple discount messaging, or requires more extensive customization capabilities, DPO Dynamic Product Options is likely a better choice, given its high review count. Although, you'd need to investigate DPO's feature set to confirm it covers the specific needs related to discount messaging. Without further information on DPO, its difficult to recommend, but the volume of reviews suggests greater adoption. Merchant's are recommended to install the free trials of both apps to determine what fits their needs best.
