Discount Spinner – LuckSpin vs Lury: Make an Offerfor Shopify (2026)
Discount Spinner – LuckSpin and Lury: Make an Offer both aim to increase sales through interactive engagement, but they employ drastically different strategies. LuckSpin uses a gamified approach, offering discounts via a spin wheel, targeting merchants looking for simple, broad-based promotional tools without coding. Lury, on the other hand, empowers customers to make offers on products, enabling dynamic pricing and negotiation, which is suitable for merchants prioritizing maximized revenue on specific items and willing to engage in a more complex setup. The fundamental difference lies in the pricing model and level of customization. LuckSpin offers pre-determined discount levels, which could be perceived as more passive and less tailored. Lury allows for price negotiation and auto-acceptance/rejection rules, giving merchants more control over the final price and potentially resulting in higher profit margins than LuckSpin's generalized discounts. However, Lury requires more thought in defining negotiation rules whereas LuckSpin is simply plug and play.

Our Verdict
For merchants seeking a straightforward, hands-off approach to offer general discounts with minimal setup, Discount Spinner – LuckSpin could be a viable option, *if* its ratings improve significantly. However, given the complete lack of reviews, it carries substantial risk. Lury: Make an Offer is better suited for merchants who want to actively manage pricing, are comfortable setting up rules for offer acceptance, rejection, and counter offers, and want the opportunity to maximize revenue from each sale through negotiation.
Due to its higher rating, existing reviews, and feature set geared towards personalized pricing and revenue maximization, Lury: Make an Offer currently presents a more compelling and less risky solution than Discount Spinner – LuckSpin. However, merchants should carefully assess the complexity of managing customer offers and ensure they have the time and resources to properly configure the rules for Lury.
