Disputely vs Fraud Falcon ‑ Block & Preventfor Shopify (2026)
Disputely and Fraud Falcon ‑ Block & Prevent both aim to help Shopify merchants combat fraud and chargebacks, but they take different approaches. Disputely focuses on automated, comprehensive dispute prevention across multiple platforms, positioning itself as a 'set it and forget it' solution for larger merchants or those experiencing complex fraud issues. It claims to prevent issues before they happen, potentially appealing to merchants prioritizing proactive risk mitigation and reduced manual work. However, the lack of reviews and a zero rating are significant concerns. Fraud Falcon, on the other hand, offers a more hands-on, rule-based approach. Merchants define specific criteria for identifying and blocking fraudulent orders, granting them greater control over the process. Its focus on customization and immediate action (blocking orders, issuing refunds) targets merchants who want to actively manage their fraud prevention strategies. The positive rating and several reviews suggest initial user satisfaction and reliability. Fraud Falcon empowers merchants to react quickly to fraud signals, offering a potentially faster ROI for smaller stores or those with readily identifiable fraud patterns.

Our Verdict
In 2026, based on the limited information available, Fraud Falcon ‑ Block & Prevent seems the more reliable choice for most Shopify merchants. Its positive rating, user reviews, and setup wizard suggest a user-friendly and effective solution for actively managing fraud. The ability to customize rules allows merchants to tailor the app to their specific needs and risk profiles. However, it requires more active management.
Disputely's promise of fully automated dispute prevention is appealing, but the complete lack of reviews and zero rating are red flags. While it *could* be a powerful solution for larger stores dealing with complex fraud, it's difficult to recommend without any evidence of its effectiveness. Merchants interested in Disputely should proceed with extreme caution and thoroughly vet the app before committing to a paid plan, perhaps looking for case studies or more testimonials elsewhere.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up?
Fraud Falcon appears easier to set up, thanks to its setup wizard that analyzes your store and suggests fraud rules. Disputely's setup process is not described, but the focus on cross-platform integration suggests it might be more complex.
Which app offers more control over fraud prevention?
Fraud Falcon offers more control. Merchants can define specific conditions and actions for fraud rules, while Disputely automates the process based on its own algorithms.
Which app is better for a beginner?
Fraud Falcon is likely better for beginners due to its simpler setup and rule-based approach. The visual control allows merchants to understand and adjust the process, especially if they are new to chargeback management systems.
Which app is better for a large store with complex fraud patterns?
Disputely *could* be better for a large store if it delivers on its promise of automated, cross-platform dispute prevention. However, the lack of reviews makes it a risky choice. A large store might consider testing both, but monitor Disputely extremely carefully.
Does either app offer a free trial?
The app descriptions do not mention free trials for either Disputely or Fraud Falcon ‑ Block & Prevent. It would be crucial to check the Shopify App Store listing for up-to-date pricing and trial information before making a decision.
