DivideBuy: Spread The Cost vs seQura On‑Site Messagingfor Shopify (2026)
DivideBuy: Spread The Cost and seQura On‑Site Messaging both aim to enhance sales through payment solutions, but they approach it differently. DivideBuy focuses on providing a direct financing option to customers, allowing them to spread payments over time with instant credit approval and soft credit checks. Their primary strength lies in offering a concrete payment alternative that can unlock larger purchases and increase average order value. This app is geared towards merchants looking to directly facilitate customer financing. seQura On‑Site Messaging, on the other hand, is a communication tool designed to promote existing seQura payment options. It centers around increasing awareness and adoption of seQura through customizable on-site messaging and visual editors, empowering merchants to emphasize payment flexibility during the buying journey. Its main strength lies in ease of use and seamless integration into the website design, as no coding knowledge is needed. This app caters to merchants already using seQura and wanting to maximize its visibility and impact. The core divergence is that DivideBuy *is* the payment solution, whereas seQura On-Site Messaging *promotes* a payment solution (seQura).
