Dodgeball vs Subunofor Shopify (2026)
Both Dodgeball and Subuno are Shopify apps designed to prevent fraud, but they approach the problem with different scopes and feature sets. Dodgeball positions itself as an end-to-end solution covering the entire customer journey, from the first click to the final transaction. It emphasizes ease of use with its drag-and-drop interface and boasts integration with third-party fraud engines in under 60 seconds. Subuno, on the other hand, focuses more specifically on credit card fraud and chargeback prevention, offering a rules-based platform for customizing and automating order screening. A key difference lies in their target user. Dodgeball appears to be geared towards merchants seeking a comprehensive, visually-driven fraud prevention system that offers a holistic view of user behavior across the entire customer journey. Subuno, with its 15+ manual review tools and emphasis on detailed analytics, seems designed for merchants who want granular control over fraud checks and need tools for in-depth investigation of suspicious orders. The 'no-code' customization of Subuno is also a compelling point for users who have specific fraud prevention logic they want to implement without programming.

Our Verdict
Based on the available information, Dodgeball is suitable for merchants who prioritize a holistic, visual approach to fraud prevention across the entire customer journey and need quick integrations. Its drag-and-drop interface and focus on end-to-end protection make it a good choice for those seeking ease of use and a comprehensive view of user behavior.
Subuno, with its rule-based customization, detailed analytics, and manual review tools, is better suited for merchants who require granular control over fraud checks and need to investigate suspicious orders thoroughly. If preventing credit card fraud and chargebacks is a primary concern, and the merchant has specific rules they want to implement, Subuno is the more appropriate choice. However, the limited number of reviews for both apps in 2026 is a signal to trial both before committing to a long-term solution.
