Donatly: Donate At POS and GoGenerosity ‑ Donations both fall under the 'Donations' category on the Shopify App Store, aiming to help merchants integrate charitable giving into their business. Our Verdict
GoGenerosity ‑ Donations appears to be the stronger choice for most Shopify merchants in 2026, given its perfect rating, existing user base, and broader feature set focused on online stores. Its emphasis on revenue boosting and customer retention through donations offers a compelling value proposition. Donatly: Donate At POS, while potentially useful for businesses prioritizing in-person donations, suffers from a lack of reviews and a less developed feature set as described. Merchants primarily focused on POS systems and looking for basic donation functionality might consider Donatly, but they should proceed with caution due to the lack of social proof. GoGenerosity provides a more holistic solution for merchants aiming for significant social impact alongside revenue growth.
