Doodle ‑ Infinite Scroll vs SA Variants: Combined Listingsfor Shopify (2026)
Doodle ‑ Infinite Scroll aims to improve the shopping experience by replacing pagination with infinite scrolling on collection pages, hoping to reduce drop-offs and increase conversions. Its target audience is likely merchants struggling with high abandonment rates on collection pages and looking for a simple solution to improve navigation. However, it currently suffers from a very low rating and extremely few reviews. SA Variants: Combined Listings, on the other hand, boasts a perfect 5-star rating based on a significant number of reviews (136). While we lack information on its specific function beyond "Combined Listings," the high rating suggests strong user satisfaction. The apps are competing in the 'Search and Navigation - Other' category, however, their goals are distinctly different; one aims to improve collection page navigation while the other is concerned with variation display and grouping.

Our Verdict
Given the current data, SA Variants: Combined Listings appears to be the significantly stronger choice due to its overwhelmingly positive user feedback (high rating and numerous reviews). Doodle ‑ Infinite Scroll's low rating and minimal reviews raise concerns about its effectiveness and reliability. However, if a merchant specifically needs infinite scroll functionality and is willing to take a risk on an unproven app, Doodle ‑ Infinite Scroll might be worth a try, but only after thorough testing and monitoring. Ultimately, the choice depends on the merchant's specific needs. If they are experiencing cart abandonment due to difficulties in browsing the store's collections, they might cautiously test Doodle while keeping a close eye on the results. If their needs involve combined product variations or other search and navigation features outside of infinite scroll, SA Variants, despite the lack of details on their purpose, is a likely better initial choice given it's proven track record.
