Doppelganger vs PasswordFree Authenticator Appfor Shopify (2026)

Our Verdict
For merchants primarily concerned with improving the accuracy of their Customer Lifetime Value (CLV) data and resolving issues caused by duplicate accounts, Doppelganger might be a suitable option, despite its low rating and limited reviews. The app focuses on finding, linking, and merging duplicate accounts, which can lead to more reliable customer data. However, merchants should proceed with caution given the limited positive feedback. PasswordFree Authenticator App is geared towards merchants looking to enhance security and streamline the login process for their customers. The passwordless authentication and OTP features aim to prevent fake accounts and improve the overall customer experience. While it currently lacks reviews, its focus on user authentication and fraud prevention could make it an attractive choice for stores prioritizing security. Without positive reviews for either app, thorough research and potentially contacting the developers directly are advisable.
