Doppelganger vs Yagi Draft Order Listerfor Shopify (2026)
Doppelganger and Yagi Draft Order Lister are both Shopify apps listed under the 'Customer Loyalty' category, but they address vastly different needs and target different merchant types. Doppelganger aims to solve the problem of duplicate customer accounts and inaccurate CLV calculations by offering features to find, link, and merge these accounts. It emphasizes data privacy and control. Yagi Draft Order Lister, on the other hand, focuses on streamlining the draft order payment process by allowing customers to view and pay these orders directly on the store, eliminating reliance on email invoices and offering automated tagging to track customer views. The most significant difference lies in their core functionality. Doppelganger is designed for merchants struggling with data integrity and wanting a more accurate view of customer value, especially those dealing with POS systems or customers using multiple email addresses. Yagi Draft Order Lister is geared towards merchants who frequently use draft orders and want to improve the customer experience by simplifying payment and reducing customer support inquiries related to invoice delivery. The drastically different ratings and the relatively small number of reviews for both apps suggest potential newness or niche appeal.

Our Verdict
Choosing between Doppelganger and Yagi Draft Order Lister depends heavily on the specific needs of the Shopify merchant. If a merchant is primarily concerned with data accuracy and eliminating the challenges of duplicate customer accounts negatively impacting CLV calculations, Doppelganger, despite its lower rating, might be the better option. However, the low rating and few reviews should be a red flag requiring further research. If, however, the merchant utilizes draft orders frequently and seeks to improve the payment process for customers and reduce support requests, Yagi Draft Order Lister, with its perfect rating, is the more suitable choice, provided its features align perfectly with their existing workflow. Further investigation into both app's support and recent updates is recommended before making a decision, especially considering the low number of reviews.
