Our Verdict
The choice between Doran: Draft Orders for POS and Stockist Store Locator depends entirely on the merchant's needs. If the priority is optimizing internal POS workflows by simplifying draft order management, Doran is the relevant app, *assuming* its functionality performs as advertised. However, the lack of reviews is a major concern. On the other hand, if the goal is to drive foot traffic to physical stores and improve the customer experience by making it easier to find store locations, Stockist Store Locator is the clear choice, supported by its high rating and numerous positive reviews. Given the zero ratings and reviews for Doran, and the availability of robust reviews for Stockist, the latter is easier to recommend.
Common Questions
Does Doran help customers find physical store locations?
No, Doran focuses on draft order management within the POS system and does not provide any store locator functionality. Stockist Store Locator addresses that need.
Can Stockist help with managing custom sales or special orders at the point of sale?
No, Stockist's sole purpose is to help customers find physical store locations. It doesn't interact with POS systems or draft order management.
Which app is easier to set up and use?
It's difficult to determine ease of use for Doran given the lack of reviews. Stockist, with its established user base, is likely to have a more streamlined and documented setup process, though without hands-on testing it is impossible to be sure.
What are the main differences in pricing?
Pricing information is not provided, so a comparison cannot be made. It is important to evaluate the costs of each app and how they align with the merchant's budget and anticipated return on investment.
Which app is more likely to increase revenue?
Stockist Store Locator is designed to drive in-store sales, directly impacting revenue. Doran's impact on revenue is indirect, based on time savings and efficiency gains within the POS process, which *may* lead to increased sales volume.
